Delhi technological University conducts lateral entry entrance test DTU LEET for direct admissions to the 3rd semester of 4 year BTech programmes offered by DTU under the lateral entry scheme. It is a gateway for diploma holders to get admissions directly in the second year of the undergraduate BTech programme.


DTU LEET 2020 Eligibility

The candidates seeking admission to the BTech lateral entry programmes should possess a state diploma of three years in any branch of engineering or equivalent examination from a DTU recoganised university. The candidates should secure a minimum of 60% (50-55% for SC/ST) marks in all the semesters as an aggregate.

Admissions to the BTech programmes under the lateral entry scheme are offered on the basis of a written test which is conducted by DTU.

Marking Scheme:

Every correct answer will be awarded four marks, and for every wrong answer one mark will be deducted each.

The merit will be prepared on the basis of DTU LEET examination scores which will be calculated on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the written/online test.
